Honoring the PASS Foundation by the Director of Security of Aden in recognition of its efforts in supporting community security.

PASS Foundation – Peace for Sustainable Societies was officially honored by Major General Mutaher Al-Shuaibi, Director of Security of Aden Governorate, in recognition of its outstanding contributions to advancing security and community initiatives through a range of programs and interventions.

This recognition reflects the results of sustained collaboration between the Foundation and security authorities over the past two years. During this period, the Foundation has worked to enhance the working environment within police departments and strengthen their capacity to respond to gender-related issues, within the framework of the National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security (WPS).

The Foundation’s interventions have included the rehabilitation and renovation of police stations, the provision of essential equipment, and the introduction of digital transformation practices in data management. It has also implemented specialized training programs targeting police personnel, including initiatives aimed at the training and empowerment of female police officers.

In addition, the Foundation has carried out a range of community-based activities, including engagement meetings with community committees, as well as awareness campaigns designed to promote public awareness and community participation.

On the sidelines of the honoring ceremony, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the PASS Foundation and Major General Mutaher Al-Shuaibi to expand areas of joint cooperation and further strengthen the implementation of security and community-focused programs and initiatives.

The Foundation’s leadership emphasized that this recognition represents a testament to its sustained efforts over the past period and serves as a strong motivation to continue its work in support of security and stability in Aden Governorate.
