Announcement Submission for contracting with a researcher/s for the upward peacebuilding project Deadline 10 May 2022 Project Profile: The upward peacebuilding project, implemented by PASS - Peace for Sustainable Communities in partnership with SAFERWORLD, aims to support civil society organizations - including marginalized groups such as women and youth, and local authorities, to work together and address the root causes of conflict and insecurity, linking them to formal and informal peace processes at the local, national and international levels. The objective of the research is as follows: - Analyzing and assessing Conflict issues in Aden governorate in the targeted districts (sira , Khur Maksar, Al Mualla, Attawahi, Al Mansura, Sheikh Osman, Al Buraiqeh, Dar Sad). - Evaluating the role of youth initiatives, community gatherings, women's components and local organizations in promoting community peacebuilding. - Creating a database for youth initiatives, community gatherings, women's components, local organizations and women peacebuilding actors and influencers in peace building. Thus, develop a clear idea of the most important issues and their parties and dimensions of conflict in the target areas, the nature of the roles of community groups, community youth initiatives, local organizations, women's activists and local authorities in resolving them, and make recommendations that enhance the work of community initiatives and groupings to work better with local authorities. The researcher has prior experience in designing and preparing research studies. 2. The researcher must have one of the academic qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, PhD. 3. Provide technical and financial presentation. 4. Ability to form, train and supervise a research team. 5. Ability to facilitate workshops, draw findings and lessons learned from research. 6. Ability to design and prepare advanced search tools. 7. Ability to assess and analyze data. 8.
